- Primary Purpose: Foster a collective vision that promotes personalized instruction and learning by encouraging collaborative leadership, innovative approaches, and effective utilization of flexible spaces. Lead and manage the instructional program, overseeing campus operations and personnel. Provide leadership to maintain high standards of instructional quality. Ensure adherence to district policies, monitor the success of instructional programs, and manage the operation of all campus activities.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Master's Degree in Educational Administration Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate Certified Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of curriculum development and instructional practices Ability to cultivate social emotional learning to ensure the well-being of all students Ability to effectively plan, organize and coordinate the management functions and activities of school operation Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, strategies, goals and objectives of public education Knowledge of procedures, techniques and strategies pertaining to the administration of school level operation Ability to handle multiple priorities with frequent interruptions Ability to effectively analyze problems, issues and concerns and formulate appropriate alternative solutions Ability to evaluate instructional programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to interpret data Ability to understand and implement policy/procedures Excellent organizational, communication, public relations, presentation, and interpersonal skills required to achieve the goals of the position Experience: Minimum of three years of experience as a classroom teacher Campus level administrative experience required; secondary administrator experience preferred Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the administration may find appropriate and acceptable
- Salary Range
- Pay Grade PG09, $649.32 - $769.42 daily rate, commensurate with experience according to District salary schedule
