- Prairie Lea ISD is an up and coming district that is at the beginning stages of change, growth, and enhancement in many categories. PLISD added a brand-new secondary academic building and cafeteria in 2023 and is looking to add even more academic and extra-curricular buildings over the course of the next few years as growth comes to our community. PLISD has been designated a "fast growth" district as two (2) residential subdivisions are scheduled to begin construction and the building of homes in late 2025. PLHS is currently a 1A school that most recently were crowned the 2024 District Champions in 6-man football. Participation rates in football, volleyball, basketball, track & field, and cross country are in big numbers with a higher enrollment expected in 2025.

- This is a Head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Basketball coaching position or can Head BB and Assistant BB; with a possible 3rd sport (Track). The ideal candidate will be a firm disciplinarian and will have the ability to change behaviors while driving results with implementing and sustaining a successful program in and out of the classroom setting.
- Qualifications
- Texas Teacher Certification in subject area. Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Strong communication skills. CDL or willing to get licensed. Advanced classroom and discipline management techniques and abilities. Ability to change behaviors while driving results.
- Salary Range
- As per the PLISD teacher salary scale + coaching stipends
