- PRIMARY PURPOSE: Direct and manage the overall athletic program for Frisco ISD.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Master’s degree preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Excellent public relations, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to speak effectively before groups of students, parents, staff, and community members Knowledge of federal, state, and UIL policies governing athletics Knowledge of the overall operations of a comprehensive athletic program Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data Ability to manage budget and personnel Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful experience as a teacher, coach, administrator, or supervisor, with preference given to campus administrative experience Central athletic office experience preferred
