- Perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and their mechanical, electrical, and sanitary systems throughout district. Assist with maintenance of grounds. Must be comfortable with basic utilization of devices and software for timekeeping, work orders and emails.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Valid Texas driver’s license Prior experience in maintenance with heavy and light equipment Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and take direction Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures Ability to communicate effectively (verbally) Ability to operate hand and power tools Ability to work independently and be self-motivated Ability to work multi-use tractor with front loader, shredder, etc Ability to utilize a computer for timekeeping, emails and work o rder system Experience: One year experience in general building maintenance
- Salary Range
- The position is paid on the Auxiliary pay structure with an hourly rate of $16.50 an hour.
