Lago Vista ISD is looking for a loving and qualified caretaker for The Little Vikings Learning Center for the 2025-2026 school year. The Little Vikings Learning Center is a childcare facility that provides Lago Vista ISD employees and the community with an affordable and timely childcare option. Our mission is to provide exemplary learning, play, and social opportunities for all children enrolled in the Little Vikings Learning Center. Little Vikings offers a small, supportive work environment, competitive pay, and a comprehensive benefits package to all employees.
- Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years old. Become Child and Baby CPR Certified (Training will be provided to successful candidate if necessary). Be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib. Maintain emotional control under stress. Participate in 24 hours of annual paid training. Be able to meet all Texas Health & Human Services requirements for background checks and fingerprinting.

- To be determined by breadth of experience and the LVISD Salary Schedule
- Benefits
- TRS Active-Care - The District pays $445 a month toward the employee health insurance premiums; vision and dental offered; cafeteria plan available.
