- To assist the school principal in the overall administration of the instructional program and campus level operations. To work with the principal and staff to identify and achieve specific instructional goals. To develop and maintain a program for personal and staff professional growth, cooperation and self-renewal that stimulates creativity and innovation.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Master’s degree in educational administration Texas principal or other appropriate Texas certificate Certified Texas Teachers Evaluation and Support System appraiser (T-TESS) Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of campus operations Working knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to evaluate instructional program and teaching effectiveness Ability to manage budget and personnel Ability to implement policy and procedures Ability to interpret data Excellent organizational, communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills Experience Prefer at least three years’ successful classroom teaching experience Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Trustees may find appropriate and acceptable.
