WVISD is searching for its next Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach. WVISD has qualified for the UIL state playoffs 8 out of the last 9 years in 1A and 2A including the regional tournament multiple times in 2025. They will return 3 starters and 3 letterman. Will also coach other sports dependent on experience.
Qualifications
Education/Certification: All Certification Areas Accepted other than Science. Prefer Successful Head Varsity Basketball experience or Successful Assistant Varsity Head Coaching experience for minimum of the last 5 years. Bachelor’s degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate appropriate for assignment
Salary Range
State Base Competitive Coaching Stipends 11 month contract
Benefits
375 towards Health Insurance $10,000 Life Policy All students eligible for WVISD Foundation scholarship averaging $2,600 per year of attendance from K-12 grade.
