- Leakey School is a PK-12 campus with approximately 350 students located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The school recently opened a new secondary building with new science labs, computer labs, gym, and cafetorium. Leakey is in the Frio Canyon a stretch of countryside which is best known for the Frio River. The area has been called the Swiss Alps of Texas. During the day you can teach some of the best kids in Texas and in the evenings you can float the Frio or go hiking. Located 9 miles from the famed Garner State Park, the area has many amenities for all taste. Breathtaking views from certain hilltops you can see 35 miles.
