- Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society. Coaching responsibilities may include a combination of middle school and high school sports.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university - Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for the assigned subject and level assigned - ESL certification preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: - Strong knowledge of assigned subjects and curriculum - General understanding of curriculum design and instructional strategies - Ability to instruct students and effectively manage student behavior and engagement - Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: - Minimum of one year of student teaching or an approved internship - Demonstrated competency in the assigned core academic subject area
