- Provide leadership for the district Dual Language, Bilingual, ESL, Title I-Part C (Migrant), Title III (Immigrant), and Languages Other Than English (LOTE) programs. In addition, ensure that the district meets the education needs of Emergent Bilinguals and all students learning a second language. Support management of the district’s Federal and State programs. Collaborate with district staff and outside personnel to formulate, develop, implement, and evaluate federal and state programs. Warrant compliance with all state, federal, and local requirements.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification/Experience: o Master’s degree from accredited college or university required. Must have experience in supporting district and campus-level programs serving Dual Language, Bilingual, and ESL students and teachers. Two years of experience in program management preferred. Supervisory leadership experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: o Knowledge and understanding of the Individual needs of English Language Learners o Ability to implement policy and procedures o Ability to interpret data o Ability to manage budget and personnel o Strong professional, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
