- Providing each student with the opportunity for a successful and challenging education is the goal of Greenville High School. The faculty and staff at GHS foster the belief of finding an avenue of success for each student. To fulfill the school mission statement and stand firm in its belief, GHS offers a strong partnership between school and family to ensure quality learning. GHS - home to the World Champion Robowranglers Robotics Squad - serves approximately 1,100 students in grades 9-12. Students at GHS are offered a comprehensive course of study built on a strong curriculum in language arts, mathematics, science and social studies. The Parent-Teacher Association and Athletic Booster Club support student achievement through various recognition programs. GHS is successful in athletics like football, volleyball and basketball as well as academic pursuits such as UIL Academic, Destination Imagination and Robotics. The curriculum provides alternate paths to graduation, allowing students to tailor the program to their own interests and graduate with a strong preparation for college or equipped to enter the job market. GHS has a number of special programs designed to meet the collective and individual needs of all our students.
