- Provide curriculum leadership and support in the development, articulation, and implementation of instructional programs reinforcing district goals in the subject area(s) assigned. The Coordinator will promote enhanced instruction and student learning by developing curriculum resources (e.g., pacing guides, assessments, and tools for instructional management) that are in alignment with the rigor of the Texas Essential Knowledge Skills (TEKS). The Coordinator will also work directly with campus principals, instructional leadership teams and teachers to support and facilitate the implementation of the districts’ curriculum. The Coordinator will support teachers by modeling effective instructional practices, conducting coaching observations, serving as a content area resource, and other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Minimum Education/Certification: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university with a major in an assigned subject area (preferred) Texas Teacher’s certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of curriculum design and implementation Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: A minimum of five years teaching experience is preferred. A minimum of three years leadership experience is preferred.

- $65,258 plus experience 226 days
