- The Executive Director is responsible for increasing the instructional leadership capacity of school staff to improve student outcomes. The Executive Director will be assisting the work of developing instructional leaders by working with principals individually and in groups using data, instructional best practice and school improvement methods. The Executive Director is responsible for evaluating and leading Special Education and Dyslexia, multi-tier system of support (MTSS), Early Childhood. Work with assigned directors and coordinators to align all services with district mission, vision, beliefs and goals.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification/Experience: o Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in education related, and/or statistics related field preferred. Administrative certification preferred. A minimum of 10 years in public education with at least 5 years of experience in a district/campus leadership role. Three years campus principal experience and teacher evaluation experience preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: o Successful experience coaching principals o Successful principalship including recruiting, hiring, supporting and holding staff accountable for o results o Demonstrated experience closing gaps in student achievement o Successful experiences collecting, organizing and using student and teacher data o Successful experience working with and teaching adults o Ability to manage budget and personnel o Ability to interpret policy, procedures, and data o Strong professional, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
