Richard Milburn Academy (RMA) is seeking a passionate and creative Distance CTE Teacher to deliver engaging virtual instruction in Graphic Design and other digital media courses within the Arts, Audio/Video Technology & Communications (AAVTC) career pathway. This role is ideal for an educator with experience in online teaching and a strong background in digital design tools. Instruction will be broadcast from our Pasadena campus to students at multiple RMA campuses, with a focus on helping students gain real-world skills and earn industry certifications.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university Certification required, preferred Texas certification in one or more of the following: Technology Applications EC–12 Trade & Industrial Education with Graphic Design or AAVTC experience Arts, A/V Technology & Communications 6–12 Experience with digital design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc. Experience teaching in a virtual environment; proficiency with Canvas LMS and video broadcasting tools Knowledge of industry-recognized certifications (Adobe, PrintED, etc.) Strong virtual classroom management and communication skills Passion for supporting at-risk youth in a remote learning setting
Salary Range
$50,488 - $61,604.95
