- Primary Purpose: To provide students with high-quality instruction that fosters academic growth and development in a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment. The teacher will plan, prepare, and deliver lessons aligned with state standards while addressing the diverse needs of all learners.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university Valid Texas teaching certification for EC–6 or appropriate grade level Demonstrated knowledge of core content areas (Reading, Writing, Math, Science, and Social Studies) Strong classroom management and communication skills Duties and Responsibilities: Establish a positive classroom culture that promotes respect, responsibility, and academic success Use a variety of instructional strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and behavior Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and parents to support student learning and development Participate in grade-level meetings, professional development, and school-wide initiatives Communicate regularly with families to share student progress and encourage involvement Uphold district policies and procedures and adhere to ethical and professional standards Preferred Skills: Experience using formative assessment and data-driven instruction Familiarity with classroom technology and digital learning platforms Ability to foster student engagement and independent learning
- Salary Range
- $50,000.00 to $79,000.00 per year
- Benefits
