- .Emile Elementary School is one of eight elementary schools in Bastrop ISD. We are located on Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard in the city center. We are one of the oldest school in Bastrop ISD having first opened our doors in 1892. Since then we have undergone many changes and today we serve nearly 780 students each year in grades Pre-K through 4th. Emile Elementary receives federal funds through the Title 1 program based on the number of enrolled students who qualify for the free- and reduced-price meal program. Emile Elementary is also home to one of the two Child Development Centers in Bastrop ISD, which is a program to provide childcare for BISD staff and teen parents. Welcome to Red Rock Elementary! We are one of eight elementary schools in Bastrop ISD, serving close to 650 students each day. We are located on FM 20 in Red Rock, Texas. We are committed to excellence for all students. - BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: The primary role of the Elementary Literacy Coach is to support the implementation of the District’s Literacy Framework through the consistent and aligned use of the District’s literacy curriculum. To achieve this purpose, the Elementary Literacy Coach will, in collaboration with Campus Leadership and Curriculum and Instruction (C&I) Directors and Specialists: * Co-facilitate collaborative planning, including unit and lesson internalization and microteaches with teacher teams, * Monitor the alignment of instruction and assessment to the written curriculum and studentoutcomes * Implement the district coaching cycle by observing classroom instruction, modeling lessons with teachers and students, and providing timely verbal and written feedback, and provide targeted professional development to teachers.
- Qualifications
- ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, Valid Texas Teacher Certification, and Three years of classroom teaching experience. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION: Master’s degree from an accredited college or university, ESL supplement or certification, and Experience creating and presenting professional development at the district or campus level.

- Pay Grade Teacher Salary Schedule with a $7500 Stipend Salary Range $56,000.00 to $69,322.00/yr
