- Primary Purpose Direct and manage the district’s comprehensive multimillion-dollar transportation and vehicle maintenance program; oversee maintenance of all district-owned vehicles; ensure safe and efficient operation of the transportation department. Actively contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification/Licensure Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (preferred) Certified Administrator Professional certification from the Texas Association of Pupil Transportation (required) Valid Texas driver’s license with a CDL certification and P & S endorsements Special Knowledge/Skills Demonstrated effective communication and public relations skills Strong leadership and management skills Ability to design and implement effective policies and procedures Ability to manage budget and personnel Strong organizational skills Ability to direct and manage large vehicle fleet operations Experience Minimum 10 years leadership experience in a public school transportation setting Minimum 10 years managing a multimillion-dollar budget in a public school setting Experience managing operations of a large fleet of vehicles preferred
