- Oversee student services, including student registration, transfers, student discipline, truancy, and district-wide attendance reporting. In addition, oversee data submitted to the State of Texas via the Texas Education Agency, the collection and reporting of district information regarding discipline, and attendance to TSDS as required by the state. Collect and oversee all data submitted to OCR. Oversee all district and campus data relating to attendance, discipline, sub-populations and enrollment. Serve as the point of contact for parent complaints, Level II grievances, and expulsion hearings. Respond to questions from campus administrators regarding attendance and discipline issues. Oversee the District Truancy Officer, serve as the District Title IX Coordinator and Chair of SHAC committee. Work closely with District PEIMS office to ensure accurate reporting. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Oversee student registration, student transfers, student discipline, conducts regular truancy prevention, and registrars’ meetings/trainings and submits required reports. Train, advise and support administration on policies, procedures, discipline, complaints, truancy, and attendance. Executive Director of Human Resources reports to this position.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: 5 years principal experience required, 5 years central office experience, preferred Master’s required Public School Administrative experience required.
