- Rochelle School is a PreK-12 1A school in central Texas (a 10-minute drive from Brady, Texas). Our total enrollment is a little over 200 students annually. We are a small rural school built on traditional country values. Our students perform very well on state assessments and in extracurricular activities. Rochelle ISD uses an innovative 4-day workweek model; teachers and students have off all Fridays with the exception of the first Friday each month! Rochelle ISD has applied for and has been approved to receive Teacher Incentive Allotment performance funding that recognizes the efforts of effective, master teachers.

- Rochelle ISD has an opening for a PK-12 Principal. Our campus principal will serve as the campus behavior coordinator as well as attendance administrator. Our faculty and staff seek an energetic leader that can foster school spirit while serving as our lead learner. We believe that our campus principal should be skilled in leadership, relationship-building, organization, communication, and goal setting. Our principal will continue to build on our collective successes using innovative, student-centered actions.
- Qualifications
- Candidates must have obtained a Masters degree in educational administration (or related field) and must presently have (or anticipate on soon acquiring) principal certification. Experience as a campus principal in rural communities is a plus but is not required.
- Salary Range
- Salary is commensurate with experience.
