- Delivers small group dyslexia intervention services at FISD campuses using research-based instruction in accordance with the Texas Education Agency dyslexia program descriptors. Serves as an instructional resource person in the development and improvement of campus dyslexia and instructional programs
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (Master’s degree preferred). Valid Texas teaching certificate. Subject area concentration in elementary reading/language arts (required). Endorsement or certification as Reading Specialist, Certified Academic Language Therapist, Multisensory Structured Language Therapist or comparable experience (preferred). Teaching certification held in multiple areas is preferred. Bilingual certification preferred.
