Description/Notes
Supervise the daily operations of the school cafeterias. Step in when a cafeteria may need assistance to fulfill daily operation i.e. cashiering, cooking, managing, anything to ensure the kitchen and school has a successful day.
Qualifications
Minimum Education/Certification: • Five plus years of experience as school nutrition manager. • Certified Food Manager Certification. • Working knowledge of the National School Lunch and Breakfast Program. • Working knowledge of methods, materials, equipment and appliances used in food preparation. • Working knowledge of principles and practices for supervision and training. • Working knowledge of quantity food production including preparation and service, storage, sanitation and safety. • Strong planning and organizational skills. • Possess a Texas Driver’s License and be insurable by District Auto Insurance Carrier. • Experience with a variety of computer applications including POS systems, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Salary Range
$38,538 - $52,380
