- The Advisor Leaves, is responsible for communicating and processing absence balance calculations, leaves of absences, including Family Medical Leave of Absence (FMLA), Temporary Disability Leave (TDL) and Unpaid Leave (UPL). The incumbent will provide employees with accurate information related to absence balances, medical certification requirements, return-to-work, and leave guidelines. The incumbent will exemplify an employee-oriented culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, excellent customer service, confidentiality, and high performance.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree Minimum of 2 years of clerical experience Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the use of personal computers and software Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines Proficiency with PC operation including word processing, excel spreadsheets and databases Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy Ability to work independently Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills Bilingual English/Spanish preferred Work is primarily in an office but also requires work outside the office. Work on very detailed, employee-sensitive, highly confidential documents while maintaining a high level of integrity and discretion. Work for long periods of time on tasks with a high degree of accuracy. Work may involve completion of analytic and narrative documents with deadlines, involving stressful situation and long hours.
