- Comstock ISD is a small, family-oriented 1A district serving approximately 175 students. We are committed to ensuring that every student has the resources and support they need to succeed. Our Special Education program currently serves a caseload of about 12–15 students across multiple grade levels, and we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate educator to lead this important work.

- Responsibilities Provide specialized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in grades K–12. Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with parents, teachers, and administrators. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed. Support inclusion by collaborating with general education teachers to ensure student success in the least restrictive environment. Maintain compliance with state and federal special education requirements. Foster a positive, supportive, and growth-oriented environment for students and families.
- Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education (required). Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with Special Education certification (EC–12). Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and special education law. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Commitment to building strong relationships with students, families, and staff.
