- The Chief Technology Officer is a strategic leader responsible for directing the district's technology initiatives and leveraging innovation to improve student learning and operational efficiency. This position oversees all aspects of the technology department, including network infrastructure, data systems, cybersecurity, and technology support. The CTO possesses a deep understanding of technology management and a passion for using technology to enhance the educational experience for all students and staff. They collaborate closely with district leaders, campus administrators, and staff to align technology strategies with the district's vision and priorities, ensuring that technology resources are used effectively to support student success.
- Qualifications
- Minimum Certification Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or another related field (required) Master's Degree (required) Certified Education Technology Leader (CETL) certification (preferred) Minimum Experience: Five years' experience leading a progressive Technology organization (required) Three years' experience in the design, implementation and integration of technology systems across a large organization (preferred) Information technology leadership experience in a K-12 school district environment preferred
