- Provide special or general education students who are confined to the home for a temporary amount of time with learning activities and experiences designed to help them fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth. Accommodate or modify instructional material when needed per a student’s IEP or Section 504. Prepare provided lessons and other instructional materials to student ability levels. Work with a student in a home or community setting as assigned.

- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree from accredited university Valid Texas teaching certificate Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of core academic subject assigned Knowledge of curriculum and instruction Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to develop relationships and maintain consistent contact with student, parents, and colleagues Ability to support students with computer set-up, navigation, and technology issues Knowledge of Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee process and Individual Education Plan (IEP) Experience: At lest one year teaching or approved internship

- Starting Salary: $25,500 PART TIME
