Bartlesville Public Schools is seeking a superintendent who will continue to build on the district’s strong foundation of excellence, achieved through innovation, transparency and relationships. The district serves 6,200 students across six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school, supported by 484 certified and 317 support employees with a $59.6 million budget. Bartlesville is a diverse city of about 35,000 residents with a rich history in business and the arts. The community strongly supports public education, demonstrated through multiple bond issues, active parent organizations and strong partnerships with local businesses and higher education institutions. The district offers nationally recognized programs, including Project Lead The Way Distinguished District status, College Board recognition for Advanced Placement access and performance, an award-winning FFA program, a thriving fine arts program, and numerous athletic and activity opportunities. With a 1:1 technology initiative and a collaborative culture among staff, parents, and community members, Bartlesville Public Schools is committed to preparing students for success in college, career, and life.
