- Windham School District is currently seeking an Introduction to Welding instructor to join the Windham Career and Technology Education (CTE) team. The instructor will provide quality training in the technical and soft skills needed to gain entry level employment. Primary purpose: Instruction will include training in Basic Safety, identification and safe use of a variety of hand tools and power tools, base metal preparation, equipment set up, cutting and gouging metal, shielded arc welding and beads and fillet welds. Additional focus will be on classroom and lab instruction in various construction trades with the objective to identify areas of interest or to support a specific program offered in our district. NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) curriculum and modules will be used to guide instruction. Upon completing of course, students should receive NCCER (National Center for Construction Education and Research) Level 1 Welding. This position is located at the Hamilton Unit / Bryan, Texas.
- Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent. Five years of full time wage earning experience within the past ten years in one or more approved occupations for which instruction is offered. Bachelor’s degree, Associates degree, or technical training may be considered in determining full time work experience. Have 3 years of Welding level experience.

- Based on Experience: V0-20: 58,356 - 81,888
