- Primary Purpose: Responsible for the overall management of the Information Technology Department and strategic planning of technology systems district-wide. Provide expertise and direction in the development, deployment, and use of information technology in the district.
- Qualifications
- Qualifications: Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field Applications and/or related fields Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related fields, preferred Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of computer network, hardware, and software applications Knowledge of computer applications development and implementation Knowledge of infrastructure and wireless networking Ability to manage budget and personnel, coordinate district function; implement policy and procedures Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to interpret data Knowledge of TxEIS, Google applications, and Eduphoria Experience: Three or more years of technology-related management experience Public school experience preferred
