- Coupland ISD is a destination district in Eastern Williamson County. The district will open a secondary campus for the 2026-2027 school year serving grades 7th-9th, 7th - 10th in 2027-2028, 7th - 11th, in 2028-2029, and 7th - 12th in 2029-2030. The primary campus will serve grades PK-6th. CISD is family-centered and offers both students and staff a desirable and high quality working and learning environment.

- Plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive school counseling program at assigned campus. Counsel students to fully develop each student’s academic, career, personal, and social abilities and address the needs of special population students. Deliver guidance curriculum in various group sizes. Educate students of skills necessary to address troublesome circumstances, support students in challenging situations, and assist students with needed resources to navigate crisis situations. Seeking a trailblazer that seeks to understand our educational programs (academic, CTE, CCMR, athletic, dual credit, and extra-curricular) that will prepare our students for life beyond high school.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Master’s degree in counseling from an accredited college or university Valid Texas school counselor certificate Valid teaching certification (secondary preferred) Special Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of counseling procedures, student appraisal, and career development Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior Ability to present information in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations to students, parents or guardians, and district staff Experience: Secondary teaching experience preferred
