- Provide executive-level assistance to the Executive Director in the strategic leadership, operation, and continuous improvement of all Center programs and services. The Deputy Director provides broad oversight of instructional, curricular, operational, and administrative functions; ensures alignment with Board policy, statutory and regulatory requirements; and supports the effective delivery of Education Service Center services to LEAs within Region 2. This role requires center-wide leadership, cross-departmental coordination, fiscal oversight, and direct supervision of senior leadership staff to ensure organizational effectiveness, accountability, and sustainability.
- Qualifications
- Master's degree in education or a related field, Doctorate preferred Valid Texas supervisory certificate or other appropriate certificate/license Minimum of five (5) years of experience in public education, higher education, or an Education Service Center environment Central office and senior-level administrative experience required Experience supervising professional staff and managing multiple programs and budgets
- Salary Range
- Annually: $139,282 to $194,466
