- Primary Purpose: Oversee and manage district transportation operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and optimal resource utilization. Direct transportation services, ensuring safe and reliable operations, and overseeing the maintenance of all district-owned vehicles. Coordinate all short-term facility rentals for district-owned property. This position requires strong, proven abilities in organizational leadership and human relationships.
- Qualifications
- Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree preferred or minimum of 6 years experience in Public School Transportation Clear and valid Texas commercial driver’s license with Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) endorsements Certified TAPT Pupil Transportation Supervisor or obtain within six (6) months of hire Reasonable Suspicion certification or obtain within six (6) months of hire
- Salary Range
- $67,687+, Based on Years of Creditable Experience, $3,000 Master's Degree Stipend, $5,000 Doctorate Degree Stipend, $2,100 Travel Stipend, 15 Vacation Days, 5 State Personal Days, 6 Local Days
