The Principal of The OC serves as the chief visionary and operational leader of Forney ISD’s premier career, college, and community center. Unlike a traditional campus leader, this individual oversees a multi-use ecosystem where professional industry and secondary education intersect. This role is responsible for the academic success of High School CTE programs on the upper floors and the thriving "experiential learning" economy of student-run businesses and franchises on the ground floor.
Qualifications
Education Master’s degree in educational administration (Required) Texas Principal, Principal as an Instructional Leader, or other appropriate Texas certificate (Required) Certified T-TESS appraiser Experience Experience as a classroom teacher (3 years) Experience as a campus and/or district administrator (3 years preferred) Experience in instructional leadership roles Experience with special education program Experience in adult and family support services (3 years) Experience in community outreach Experience with Career & Technology (CTE) Background in business/corporate management (preferred)
