- Knowledge of math curriculum design and implementation Ability to interpret data and evaluate instruction programs and teaching effectiveness Ability to develop and deliver training to adult learners Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills Experience: 5 years teaching experience in subject area assigned Three years of instructional support experience, preferred Duties/Responsibilities: 1. Work collaboratively with assigned classroom teachers to establish realistic and measurable objectives related to both the teacher’s individual professional development and student learning. 2. Support the continuous professional growth and improvement of teacher instructional skills in math through coaching and collaborative problem solving. 3. Model effective instructional strategies with students in the math classroom. 4. Conduct classroom visits and monitors curriculum implementation through effective coaching methods. 5. Plan and provide appropriate staff development for teachers, administrators, and staff. 6. Provides feedback to campus and district personnel on the effective implementation of researched based high yield math instructional strategies with follow up support to ensure proper implementation of best practices. 7. Work with teachers to analyze and interpret student data and use findings to develop and apply math instructional strategies. 8. Develop curricular or behavioral support materials as needed. 9. Disseminate information regarding current research and significant developments on the state and national levels in area assigned. 10. Plans and implement data-based interventions to improve math instruction. Professional Growth and Development 11. Engage in self-initiated professional growth activities to improve coaching effectiveness 12. Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner 13. Introducing and assisting teachers with the implementation of high-quality instructional resources in math 14. Model teach whole/small groups to improve student performance in the area of mathematics 15. Facilitate the coordination of interventions for student growth in mathematics Other 16. Compile, maintain, and file all reports, records, and other documents required. 17. Comply with policies established by federal and state law, State Board of Education rule, and local board policy. 18. Follow district safety protocols and emergency procedures. 19. All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

- Education/Certification/License: Master’s degree from accredited university, preferred Valid Texas teaching certificate

- $64,818 - $76,257
