High School Principal, 2026-2027 School Year Salary negotiable depending on experience (12-month contract) POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Texas Principal Certificate ILD or AEL Training and T-TESS & T-PESS Training SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS: • Working Knowledge of Curriculum and Instruction • Ability to Evaluate Instructional Programs and Teaching Effectiveness to Improve Campus Performance • Ability to Manage Campus Budget and Personnel • Ability to Coordinate Campus Functions & Organize Work Responsibilities • Ability to Interpret Policy, Procedures, and Data • Strong Organizational, Communication, Public Relations, and Inter-personal Skills • Knowledge of UIL Rules & Regulations • Knowledge of Human Resources/Supervisory Practices • Knowledge of Special and Federal Programs • Ability to Work Occasional Prolonged and Irregular Hours TIMELINE: Committee interviews will be conducted in early April. Anticipated hire date is the April 20, 2026, board meeting. Anticipated start date is Summer 2026.
Qualifications
Three years’ experience as a secondary campus principal, district level administrator or secondary campus assistant principal
