Description/Notes
The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct evaluations to determine a speech/language disability condition, an educational need for specialized instruction, and provide recommendations to support communication. The incumbent will develop individualized education plans and conduct ARD meetings to ensure appropriate programming for students within the least restrictive environment The Speech Language Pathologist will provide therapeutic intervention and classroom support to eliminate or reduce communication problems/impairments that interfere with the students' ability to derive full benefit from the educational program. The incumbent will maintain compliance of all federal / local timelines, individual records, Medicaid billing, and state performance plan indicators
Qualifications
Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university Valid license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) or Bachelor’s degree and valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate
Salary Range
61,953.00 - 84,132.00
