- Job Description to include, but not limited to the following with the expectation that the band program will continue to develop, grow and excel: · Teaching/directing solo and ensemble practice before/after school. · Competing in band contests, festivals, and competitions that showcase the students' talents. · Preparing bands for special concerts and performances throughout the year · Managing band budgets, activity accounts, and fundraising activities · Work with other district teachers and staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment for students to be successful.
- Qualifications
- Qualifications: · Must hold valid Texas Teaching certificate for Music EC-12. · Must be Highly Qualified Job Skills/experiences preferred: · Experience as a band director · Experience teaching all-level music · Experience competing in music contests festivals, and/or competitions · Self-motivated · Positive Attitude
